Improvisation (Improv) is everywhere now--with many popular movies, tv shows, and podcasts relying on spontaneous creation. These same improv tools and exercises have long been used by actors to help them explore characters, storytelling, and "being in the moment" and are useful skills for a wide-range of real-world interactions. In this class we'll explore character creation and a variety of verbal and nonverbal forms of performance as we learn and play short-form and long-form exercises and games that will help us start with positivity and strong choices, share the scene, find the joy, and listen and react to tell a shared story. If you are utilizing IRIS or another source for funding, please complete the registration process and check 'pay in person' at the very end. Contact Katie and/or your consultant to learn the next steps in the process.
