Tea Party FAQ
Do I have to dress up?
Nope! Costumes are not required at all. Some people will come dressed as their favorite Wonderland character, or in a fancy tea party dress or suit, or in shorts and a t-shirt. You are encouraged to be your authentic self in whatever fashion that works for you!
Will there be activities for me and my family members?
Yes, we have a craft section, books, games, food, drink, a short show and interactive experiences planned all afternoon. The activities are for all ages and abilities!
Is this event indoors or outside?
Weather permitting we will be in the garden of the Charles Allis Art Museum.
Do I need to wear a mask?
We ask that all attendees wear a mask when not eating or drinking and remain socially distanced when possible. Many members of the Pink Umbrella community have compromised immune systems and diagnoses that can complicate a COVID diagnosis. We are committed to keeping this event safe for all.
Do I need the COVID vaccine to attend?
Proof of a COVID Vaccine or negative test within 72 hours of the event is required. Masking will be required should Milwaukee County be at a HIGH level status at the time of the event. Cases are on the rise again and we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of all guests.
Where do I park?
We have secured two lots for this event. The first lot can be found at 1684 N Prospect Avenue at Milwaukee Eye Care. We ask able bodied attendees to use this lot first. The second lot can be found on the corner of Royall and Farwell. Please see this image to know what spaces we've reserved. (For reference: This lot is located north of Zaffiro's)
There will be photographs and video taken. What if I don't want to be on social media or give my permission to use my image?
At the registration table, there will be stickers for you to place on your nametag. This will alert the photographer and videographer that you do not give your permission for your image to be shared publicly by Pink Umbrella Theater. If you see the camera pointed in your direction, please do not worry. We will edit you out of the photo.
What if my plans changed and I can no longer attend, could I still donate?
Of course! Please let us know that your plans have changed and if you would be so kind, head over to our website and make a donation. Thank you!
