Ages 8-13 Musical Theater Dance Audition Workshop

Join dancer Stacy Paradiso for a musical theater dance audition workshop. This workshop will help dancers to discover what it means to dance from the top of you head to the tip of your toes, as the storytelling of a musical doesn’t stop just because there’s a dance break-the storytelling continues through dance! We will begin with a physical warmup, followed by a brief dance combination to a song from a popular Broadway musical, similar to what might be taught at a dance call.  Dancers will learn techniques to command stage presence and portray character while dancing, which are essential to all musical theater dancing and is sure to make you stand out at any audition! For ages 8-13.
