Join a Committee
Who:
Each committee will comprise a total of five members and one Board Member to lead. All members will serve a one year term and will be elected by the current Board.
Pink Umbrella Theater Company is looking for dedicated, passionate professionals who are committed to researching and enacting ideas on fundraising, theater education, partnerships, and general methods of growth.
What:
Committee members will spend an average of 5-10 hours a month researching ideas, aiding with development, and serving as an ambassador for Pink Umbrella Theater Company in their community. Committees will meet in-person or virtually 12 times a year.
Where:
Wherever you are! Committee members are not required to live and/or work in Wisconsin. We will meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month via Zoom from 6:30-7:30 pm CST.
When:
We are seeking new Committee members to begin their terms February 2022
Why:
Committees serve to move Pink Umbrella Theater Company forwards through leadership and strategic governance in its mission of providing accessible and inclusive theater for people who identify with a physical, intellectual, or emotional disability.
Specific Committees
Committee of Carers:
The Committee of Carers’ main purpose is to research and follow through on ideas regarding fundraising, partnerships, and events. Members of this committee shall identify as parents, guardians, caregivers or carers of this community.
Committee of Actors & Artists:
The Committee of Actors & Artists’ main purpose is to research and follow through on ideas regarding programming, curriculum, theater education, partnerships, and events. Members of this committee shall identify as actors, artists, playwrights, technicians or performers.
Committee of Educators & Therapists:
The Committee of Educators’ main purpose is to research and follow through on ideas regarding programming, curriculum, theater education, partnerships, and events. Members of this committee shall identify as educators, teachers, volunteers, occupational and physical therapists, speech pathologists and special educators.


Join the Board
Who:
The Board will comprise a total of seven members, four of whom will form the Executive Team (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer), and three of whom will serve as general board members. All members will serve a three year term and will be elected by the current Board.
Pink Umbrella Theater Company is looking for dedicated, passionate professionals who are committed to assisting with fundraising and development initiatives and willing to make a three-year commitment.
What:
Board members will spend an average of 5-10 hours a month attending meetings, chairing a committee, and serving as an ambassador for Pink Umbrella Theater Company in their community.
Where:
Wherever you are! Board members are not required to live and/or work in Wisconsin.
When:
We are seeking new Board members to begin their terms July 2023.
Why:
The Board of Directors serves to move Pink Umbrella Theater Company forwards through leadership and strategic governance in its mission of providing accessible and inclusive theater for people who identify with a physical, intellectual, or emotional disability.
