​Ada may be hard-of-hearing, but she certainly isn’t hard-of-fearing how her first date will go. Will Ada’s new hearing aids aid and abet her insecurities? Or will they turn hearing impairment on its ear?

Our Mothers Are Not Refrigerators by Chris Chan**
Follow a support group meeting for people with autism, and learn about the theory of the “refrigerator mother” misdiagnosis cause of autism. Immerse yourself in the stories of the group participants, the injustice of the theory and its consequences, and how the characters will move forward in the world outside the group.

Adam is a student at the UW Milwaukee studying Film and Communications. He brings grit and a unique perspective to his work. He enjoys storytelling, filmmaking, and creative expression, often about historical and speculative themes. He continues to develop his skills, always seeking to learn and grow.
