Join us for our first sensory immersive show at Pink Umbrella Theater! This show is designed for young people with disabilities and their caregivers.
Corncob's Art Class was developed from the idea that art is for everybody and everybody needs two things to create art; a discovery of self and community. We all create art, but we shine more as artists when we find an artform that is special to us and expresses who we are in our own unique way. We welcome you to be your extraordinary self, explore safely, and discover community during Corncob's Art Class!

Meet the Cast
Ekene Ikegwuani
Corncob
they/he
Ekene Ikegwuani (they/he) is a multi-hyphenate artist based in Milwaukee that loves telling immersive stories like this one! Previously, they have been seen in the Bar Project at the Brick House, where they wrote, directed, and acted in their first original short play ROADS UNTRAVELED. They will also be directing scenes from ALIGNMENT by Monica Cross as part of Kith & Kin's new play festival, and assistant directing ONE PARTY CONSENT with All In Productions. Ekene last performed with Pink Umbrella as Pepper in SHINE! and are happy to be back doing accessible children's theater.
Kendra Krouth

Kendra is so excited to be working with Pink Umbrella once again! They are a graduate of University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, where they got their BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in Dance Performance. Recent credits include, Emma in “Lizzie” with Over our Head Players and Ginger in “Search for an Ending” with Renaissance Theatreworks. They have also worked with with Skylight KidsWrites and Kohl’s Wild Theatre, as well as teaching with Pink Umbrella! When not teaching or performing, you can find them playing video games, watching DnD, or going to community events!

I’m grateful to be part of Pink Umbrella’s first Sensory Immersive Show, a mission deeply close to my heart. Select credits include Leading Player in Pippin (2026); Co Director, Sense & Sensibility (2026); Live Performer, Discovery World (2025); Aida in Aida (2024); Chicago Bears Soldier Field Halftime Performer (2024); and Summerfest Performer (2024). Offstage, I work in finance and help support an organization serving individuals with special needs. I welcome genuine connections and trust that God is guiding every step of my journey. Jasper Schmiedel

Jasper Schmiedel previously appeared Left E in Pink Umbrella’s Heard Mentality and as Squawk in Pink’s Bigger Top. He also performed in staged readings of The Café Club (his original work) and The Rift at Escuela Verde High School. Jasper is studying American Sign Language at UWM and has wowed audiences with ASL-dance performances of Both Sides Now and Firework. Offstage, he loves dancing, swimming, sipping Frappuccinos, and obsessing over drag shows and Chappell Roan. Big thanks to Pink Umbrella for fueling his love of theater—and making room for all the glitter.

Lizzy Strange

Lizzy feels so grateful to have worked with Pink Umbrella since 2023. At Pink, she teaches workshops and classes, was a stage manager in Summer 2025, and is currently co-directing a show for Winter 2026. When not at Pink Umbrella, Lizzy enjoys teaching at Sunset Playhouse and working at her family's small business. Besides teaching and working, Lizzy loves tending to her plants and spending time with friends and family.
Rebekah Farr

Rebekah Farr (she/they) has been working in Milwaukee as an actor, educator, and director since 2018. Her main values are accessibility and community. She is grateful to have worked with companies such as Skylight, First Stage, Optimist, Mad Rogues, Sunstone, and Milwaukee Chamber. Rebekah is also an Associate Artist with The Constructivists. Rebekah is so lucky to be doing exactly what she loves everyday with Pink Umbrella.

OJ Jardas

OJ has been with Pink Umbrella since it's start in 2018 and has worked as a one-on-one coach, lead teaching artist, PORCH play storyteller, and artistic ally. She has her B.A. in Theater Arts & B.S. in Biological Sciences from UW-Parkside and M.A. in Teaching from Cardinal Stritch University. When OJ isn't working, she is at home playing the Sims, reading, or playing with her two cats: Luci and Ham.
Jude Smith

Jude Smith (he/him/his) is a disabled actor, musician, writer, and performance artist. He strives to promote disability awareness through his podcast, “FOCUS ON DISABILITIES”. Past theatrical work he has done includes Kaleidoscope (Paulie), Monty Python’s Spamalot (Historian), Romeo & Juliet (Messenger), The Laramie Project (Bailiff), SHIMMER, (Child/Lighting Designer), MUSICAL INFLUENCERS (Fred Burgundy). He is a current student at UW-Parkside, and also performs folk and world music under the pseudonym NEPTUNE’S ORBIT. He dedicates his work to disability equality and also eradication of prejudice.
